59 miles southwest of Missoula, Montana, White Sand Campground is found between the Elk Summit Road and Lochsa River adjacent to White Sand Pond. The campground is underneath a stand of mixed conifers and shrubs. The campground consists of one loop with seven sites and offers picnic tables and fire rings. A day use area located adjacent to the pond is popular for fishing and picnicking. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $14 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $2 per night
