About this site

White River West Sno-Park doubles as a parking lot in the Winter for snow activities, and a parking lot in the Summer for hikers and bicyclists. It’s also a popular area for RVers wanting spectacular views of Mt. Hood, while enjoying the touristy amenities of nearby Government Camp. It’s otherwise all black-top camping but still very much boondocking. Additional Info: Large paved parking area suitable for RVs and trailers. Free dispersed camping May 1 to October 31. Oregon Sno-Park permit required November 1 to April 30 ($4/day, $9/3-day, $25/annual). Restrooms available year-round. No potable water. Trash must be packed out. Fires and pets allowed. Big rig friendly.
