Nestled on the east bank of the historic Sangamon River, this park features 11 campsites with fire rings, gravel drives, picnic tables and lantern holders at each site. Some sites have electric which is available for $5 a night. Drinking water is available from a water fountain/spigot at the campground entrance. A boat ramp and sand volleyball court add to the parks amenities. Additional Info: Wheeland Park is Riverton's campground located at 235 3rd St, Riverton, IL 62561.
