Nice place, two big tent pads and a privy, no other amenities. I don't think the camp sees much use but it was tidy. If you use a string up tent or hammock the trees are a little awkwardly placed but it wasn't that hard to make it work with some longer paracord. Far enough away from the roads and park that noise wasn't an issue. The stairs are a little steep and scary in the dark but not that bad, just be mindful if you go to get some late night water. For water, out of an abundance of caution I chose to use the small tributary a little ways downstream since the waste water treatment plant is upstream just before the bridge. Also note that fires are not allowed, so another method of cooking will be necessary. It's also close to two good seasonal food stands, Sugarloaf frostie in town across the bridge (if canoeing/kayaking use the boat launch a little ways past the bridge across the river), and simmers creamy tens minutes from the camp.
