West Hawk Lake Campground
About this site
West Hawk Lake Campground is located two km north of Highway 1 on Highway 44 in Whiteshell Provincial Park, southeastern Manitoba. The campground sits beside West Hawk Lake, an impact crater lake formed by a meteor impact millions of years ago. The lake is popular for scuba diving at Crescent Beach, which is located right beside the campground. Amenities include serviced and unserviced sites, group camping, wheelchair-accessible sites, modern and non-modern washrooms, pay showers, trailer sanitary station, boat launch, marina, fish cleaning station, unsupervised swimming area, picnic areas and shelters, playground, tennis court, and hiking trails including the Mantario hiking trail. The campground is open mid-May to Thanksgiving and accepts reservations.
