West End Dispersed Camping is located on the western edge of Island Park Reservoir in Caribou-Targhee National Forest, approximately 9.5 miles west of Harriman State Park via Green Canyon Road. This is a dispersed camping site with no services available. No restrooms or potable water are available at this site. Campsites must be located at least 100 feet from water sources. Standard Caribou-Targhee National Forest dispersed camping regulations apply: 14-day stay limit in one location within a 28-day period, after which campers must relocate at least 5 road miles away. The area is accessible year-round, though winter conditions may make access challenging. Recreation opportunities include hunting, fishing, shooting, and picnicking.
