West Backpack Sites at Buckhorn State Park offer cart-in camping with no special gear required; gear can also be brought by boat or canoe. Sites are in small clusters, secluded and near the water, further apart than traditional campsites. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and bench. Portable toilets are available for each cluster; a small pit toilet for sites 26-29. Camping available year-round at sites 9, 16, and 26-29.
