Friendly & helpful staff. Clean bathrooms with free hot showers, laundry room, recreational barn with pool table, ping-pong, TV, small camp store with necessities, ice & firewood for sale. Hiking trails, bike paths, free use of canoes. Monthly themed potluck dinners, game nights, movie nights, craft nights. Sites available nightly, weekly, monthly. Limited seasonal availability. Playground for younger kids. Large fenced-in dog park. Quiet hours. Pets must have proof of rabies vaccination upon arrival. Credit cards and cash accepted. Additional Info: The campground sits on over 180 acres with 2,500 feet of Lamprey River frontage. Founded in summer 1962 by Avis and Eliot Wellington, it is now operated by Pat Wellington and her sons. Canoes and kayaks are available to borrow. Free DVDs available for rainy days. Horse shoes, volleyball, badminton, and tetherball available on-site. Within 30 minutes of Atlantic Ocean beaches; White Mountains about 1.5 hours north.
