Weigand Recreation Area
About this site
Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area's Weigand Area is the park headquarters with 192 single-family campsites featuring electrical hookups, tables, fire rings, and grates. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, dump station, marina, camp store, picnic areas, playground, and firewood for sale. Tent sites and modern cabins are available. Activities include boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. Camping available year-round with electricity; modern facilities seasonal April-October. Reservations for half of sites; others first-come, first-served via Iron Ranger. Note: Weigand Marina closed for upgrades through 2026.
