Wee-Ta-Chi
About this site
Wee-Ta-Chi is a primitive group campsite in Briones Regional Park with a minimum capacity of 17 and maximum capacity of 50 people. The site has a shelter, fire circle, picnic tables, and BBQ. It is a 1.5 mile hike-in from parking. There is no water available at the site; groups must bring all water. Dogs are allowed overnight. No alcohol permitted. Fires and BBQs not permitted; camp stoves allowed. 10 parking passes issued (4 cars at site, 6 at Bear Creek entrance). Access via gate at Fredrickson Lane near Contra Loma Regional Park entrance. All vehicles must enter and exit together; no shuttling. Buses, RVs, food trucks, or caterers prohibited. Additional Info: Group camping fees start at $50/night. Operates May to October. Reservations required.
