Wedgemount Lake Campground
About this site
Wedgemount Lake Campground is a backcountry site in Garibaldi Provincial Park, British Columbia, accessible by a strenuous 12-14 km roundtrip hike with 1200m elevation gain. It features 20 designated tent sites (10 upper with wooden platforms near emergency shelter, 10 lower gravel sites by the lake), pit toilets, bear cache/poles, and a small emergency hut (first-come, first-served, sleeps up to 6). Reservations required via BC Parks. No dogs permitted. Pack out all garbage; no facilities for water, showers, or garbage. Additional Info: Open summer season (July-October); year-round access possible but winter conditions extreme.
