Wedge Overlook

The Bureau of Land Management's Wedge Overlook sits along the rim of a canyon carved by the San Rafael River, accessible via 20 miles of graded gravel road from Castle Dale. This dispersed camping area spreads across BLM land in Utah's San Rafael Swell, where campers set up along the canyon edge or back in the junipers for more shelter. Sites vary from rim-side spots with direct canyon views to more protected locations in the trees. Rock fire rings mark some camping areas, though no tables or grills are provided. Two vault toilets serve the area.
