About this site
Dispersed camping area on BLM land along the rim of a canyon carved by the San Rafael River in Utah's San Rafael Swell. Sites vary from rim-side spots with direct canyon views to more protected locations in the trees. Rock fire rings mark some areas. Two vault toilets available, with one at the main overlook. No water, tables, or grills provided; campers must bring all supplies. Accessible via 20 miles of graded gravel road from Castle Dale. Excellent for mountain biking with single-track trails and connections to Sids Mountain Wilderness.
