About this site
Dispersed camping area on BLM land along the rim of the San Rafael River canyon in the San Rafael Swell. Sites vary from rim-side spots with canyon views to more sheltered locations in junipers. Rock fire rings mark some areas. Two vault toilets available, one at the main overlook. Popular for mountain biking and ATV riding on rim trails. Accessible via graded gravel road from Castle Dale.
