Wedding Rocks
About this site
Wedding Rocks is a backcountry camping area located at the midpoint of the Ozette Loop Trail in Olympic National Park's wilderness coast. The site features ancient petroglyphs and is situated on a rocky coastline with tide pools. Camping is limited to established sites north and south of the petroglyphs. There is no water source at Wedding Rocks; campers must pack in all water needed. No toilet facilities are available; waste must be buried 6-8 inches deep and 200 feet from campsites and water sources, with toilet paper packed out. Campfires are prohibited. Wilderness permits are required year-round, with early booking recommended May through September. The site is accessible only by foot via the Ozette Loop Trail (approximately 3 miles from Sand Point or Cape Alava trailheads). Low tide is required to safely access Wedding Rocks from the beach.
