Wasteland Weekend is a five-day post-apocalyptic festival in the Southern California desert featuring camping, music, arts, and cars in a Mad Max-style world. Attendees camp in Wasteland Valley on private land with general camping areas outside the Theme Zone welcoming tents, RVs, car camping, and trailers. Portable toilets and hand washing stations are provided, but there is no running or potable water, no dumping of any kind, and vehicle height is restricted to 14 feet. Additional Info: Event held annually; camping included in ticket price. Nearest amenities like dumping stations (Borax Bill’s with seasonal permit), groceries, and gas are about 20 minutes away.
