War Hill Park

War Hill Park is a 14-site primitive campground located on Lake Lanier near Dawsonville, Georgia. Each campsite features a fire pit, charcoal grill, and lantern hook. The park includes a bath house with restrooms and showers, 4 boat ramps, day-use areas with picnic tables and grills, and a sand beach. Campsites are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis through online registration; cash reservations are no longer accepted. The park is open March 1–October 31 for camping, while day-use areas and boat ramps remain open year-round. Entry requires a day pass ($6) or annual pass ($30), credit card only.
