Waiparous Creek Campground
About this site
This foothills campground is found in Waiparous Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 13 km west of Cochrane on Hwy. 1A and 36 km north on Hwy. 40. Here you can enjoy fishing and hiking as well as OHV trails nearby. Registered campers may off-load and travel to OHV trails from their campsites. Site Type: Unserviced, Campsites: 53, Power: -, Rate/Night: $40, Reservable Dates: May 1 - Oct 12. Opening date subject to snow levels. Camping season may extend into November, weather-permitting. The campground is managed by Red Rock Sawmills. Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
