Veterans Memorial State Forest Campground
About this site
This peaceful, rustic campground sits on the majestic Platte River and provides excellent opportunities for paddle sports and fishing. There are 24 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 3.5 miles east of Honor via US-31. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. Additional Info: Managed by Michigan DNR. Recreation Passport required for vehicle entry. No electrical hookups. Overnight fee $20 for most sites. One camping unit and six people allowed per site.
