Vernon Lake Recreation Site is a large open campground on beautiful Vernon Lake in the Nimpkish Valley of north Vancouver Island, British Columbia. It offers approximately 19-24 first-come-first-served campsites, many with lake views and beach access. A rough boat launch is available, along with a sandy beach for swimming. The site is family-friendly with no camping fees. Additional Info: Located near the east end of the lake where the Sebahal River enters. Accessible via Nimpkish Road and Vernon Lake Road.
