About this site

3,500-foot elevation 6 trailside group campsites for hikers, bicyclists or equestrian use. Closed to motor vehicles. Campsites are first come - first served. Campfire Permit is required, and may be obtained online or at any Forest Service office. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $5 per night Day Use: $5 per vehicle per day $30 per annual $5 per secondary annual Additional Info: Primitive backcountry campground with 6 sites, vault toilets, picnic tables, and access to untreated stream water. Accessible via Gabrielino Trail (2.9 miles from Redbox Picnic Area) or Valley Forge Trail (3 miles from Eaton Saddle).
