Upper Whitefish Lake Campground

Upper Whitefish Lake Campground is located in the Stillwater State Forest in northwestern Montana. The campground encompasses approximately 6 acres with 15 tent and trailer sites featuring fire rings and picnic tables. Bear-proof food storage containers and 2 vault toilets are on site. Pets are allowed but must be on leash or under voice control. A 14-day stay limit applies. A Montana Conservation License ($10) is required for recreational activities on this land. This is a pack-it-in/pack-it-out campground with campfires permitted only in designated fire rings. A boat launch is available for fishing and water recreation. Additional Info: Access to potable water is available. The lake is home to trout and other fish species, making it popular for fishing. Best visiting season is June through August.
