Upper Paradise Valley

Upper Paradise Valley is the uppermost of three designated backpacking campgrounds in Paradise Valley along the Woods Creek Trail in Kings Canyon National Park. Located 1.7 miles beyond the middle campground at the head of the valley near the confluence of Woods Creek and the South Kings River, it offers numbered sites among mature trees with bear boxes and pit toilets. Water is available from the nearby river. Camping is limited to two nights. Additional Info: Part of the Rae Lakes Loop trail system, accessible only by hiking approximately 6 miles from Roads End trailhead.
