Upper Paintbrush Camping Zone
About this site
Upper Paintbrush Camping Zone is a designated backcountry camping area in Paintbrush Canyon, Grand Teton National Park, located upstream of the Lower Paintbrush Zone near Holly Lake. Campers must select sites within the zone boundaries, preferably at previously used locations out of sight of trails and 200 feet from lakes and streams. Permits are required from the National Park Service. Campfires are not permitted in this mountain camping zone. Additional Info: Accessed via hiking trails from String Lake Trailhead; part of popular Paintbrush-Cascade Canyon Loop.
