UPPER GALLINAS (Campground) Additional Info: Upper Gallinas Campground is a small developed facility with 3 sites in Gila National Forest's Silver City Ranger District, located along NM Highway 152 between mileposts 26 and 27, approximately 37 miles east of Silver City. It offers gravel parking, pull-through spaces accommodating vehicles up to 40ft, picnic areas, toilets, and is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees and a 14-day stay limit. Pets must be leashed. The area was affected by the 2013 Silver Fire; flooding possible. Stock allowed in corral. OHV/ATV and hunting prohibited in campground.
