Upper Fowl Lake

Upper Fowl Lake is a sub-alpine lake in the 8 Peaks Recreation Reserve / Tenquille-Owl Lakes Recreation Area near Pemberton, BC. It offers quality flagged campsites in lakeside meadows with waterfront access, swimming options, and fishing opportunities. The lake is accessed via a 4.2 km one-way easy to moderate hiking trail from the Fowl Lake trailhead (50.40224, -122.79693) off a forest service road, with 349m elevation gain to the lake. No outhouse or bear cache available; food must be hung from surrounding trees. Running water sources around the lake, including from upper drainage on the NW side. Additional Info: Part of backcountry trail network including routes to Fowl Peak, Ogre Lake, and Tenquille Lake. Mosquitoes can be significant in summer.
