Union East Campground

Union Reservoir East Campground is located at the end of Forest Road 7N75 at 6,800 feet elevation in Stanislaus National Forest, offering 11-12 single-family sites nestled in red fir and lodgepole pine forest adjacent to Union Reservoir. Each site includes a bear box, fire ring, picnic table, and parking spur. Amenities include vault toilets and trash service; water and showers unavailable. A primitive boat launch is available, with motorized boating limited to 5 mph. First-come, first-served with many sites offering water views. Open typically early June to late September. Additional Info: Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 25 feet. Pets allowed. A 0.4-mile trail connects to Union West Campground.
