Welcome to Under the Hemlock. If you are looking for quiet, laid back camping then this is the place! We are a small, heavily wooded, ma and pa campgrounds located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We are also located one mile from Amicalola Falls State Park which has the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River. At Under the Hemlock you may choose to tent camp, RV camp or stay in one of our campimg cabins. now with bathrooms. remember to bring camping items, pillows. blankets, cook gear. Please note that Under the Hemlock is a pet friendly campgrounds, and we greatly appreciate you understanding that we do not permit any of our furry friends inside the cabins at any time. Additional Info: Small family-owned campground with tent, RV, and cabin sites. Features forested terrain near Chattahoochee National Forest. Each site has electric, water, grill, and fire pit.
