UINTA CANYON (Campground) Additional Info: Uinta Canyon Campground is located along the Uinta River in Ashley National Forest with 24 first-come, first-served sites nestled in a grove of young ponderosa pines. Some sites are adjacent to the river. Popular for fishing brown, rainbow, brook, and cutthroat trout. High Uintas Wilderness trailhead nearby. Vault toilets provided. No potable water available; bring your own. Maximum RV length 22 feet. Each site has picnic table and fire ring. Operates Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
