Twin Redwoods Trail Camp

Twin Redwoods Trail Camp is a primitive backpacking campground located in the coastal region of Big Basin Redwoods State Park, less than 2 miles inland from Waddell Beach, next to Waddell Creek. It offers 6 designated sites, each accommodating a maximum of 6 people. Access is by hiking approximately 2 miles from the Rancho del Oso/Waddell Beach entrance or 11 miles from Big Basin Headquarters. Reservations are required and sites fill quickly, especially in summer. Additional Info: This trail camp is part of the Santa Cruz Mountains backcountry system and is currently closed due to fire damage from the CZU Lightning Complex Fires.
