Twin Lakes Recreation Area is a developed USFS campground located eight miles southeast of Kane. The facility offers 51 family campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad. Electric is available at some sites. Amenities include toilets, hot showers, pressurized water fountains, and playgrounds. Two group camping areas are available for groups limited to 50 people or less. Day use facilities include a swimming beach, bathhouse, picnic tables, pavilions, playground, trail around the lake, and fishing piers. Buildings and pathways are accessible for persons with disabilities. RVs or trailers should not exceed 28 feet in length or 10 feet in height due to small-sized campsites and a railroad underpass with ten-foot clearance at the entrance road. Firewood may be obtained from dead and down trees.
