Twin Lakes Campground
About this site
Twin Lakes Campground sits at the base of 11,059-foot Mammoth Mountain in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, providing one of the most scenic and sought-after camping destinations in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. The facility features 94 campsites distributed across three loops, with Sections 1 and 2 located on the west side closer to the lakeshore, and Section 3 set upon a hill. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, and mandatory bear-proof food storage locker. The campground's location on the shores of the 108-acre Twin Lakes makes it ideal for water-based recreation. Anglers can fish for rainbow, brook, and brown trout while enjoying views of a waterfall cascading into the lake. Additional Info: Sites run $34 per night. Amenities include water, toilets, dump station, and camp store. Pets allowed. Max RV length 55ft. Open late May to early October, weather dependent.
