Twin Buttes Circle refers to the circular road with boat ramp, parking lot, and camping area located off of Twin Buttes Marina Park Road. Camping is allowed here, but with permit only. There are few picnic tables you can camp next to, but you can also camp in your RV in the parking lot. Additional Info: All persons over the age of 17 must hold either Annual Public Hunting Permit (APH) or a Limit Public Use Permit (LPU). The LPU costs $12.00 and is good for a year across all public lands in Texas. Primitive camping is limited to shore areas immediately adjacent to designated roads. Boat ramps are operated by San Angelo Parks & Recreation.
