Tushar Lakeside Campground is nestled in a forest of aspen and mixed conifer within the majestic Tushar Mountain Range at 8,560 feet elevation. Located adjacent to the 6-acre Tushar Reservoir (Lower Kents Lake), this campground offers 16 multiple family group sites, a large covered pavilion near the water, two restroom facilities with flush toilets, drinking water from hand pumps, and a small meadow perfect for sports and recreational activities like volleyball. Each campsite is equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. Recreation opportunities include fishing, hiking, canoeing, sand volleyball, and wildlife viewing. Water activities are a highlight here, with kayak and canoe rentals available at the campground, plus swimming opportunities in the shallow reservoir. Additional Info: Managed by Beaver County, Utah. Reservations via https://secure.rec1.com/UT/beaver-county-ut/catalog. Bears frequent the area; pack it in, pack it out. ATVs must be trailered out of the campground to the trailhead.
