Tuscarora State Forest Campsite 026 is one of approximately 55 designated motorized, roadside campsites in Tuscarora State Forest, marked with red fiberglass posts. These primitive sites have no developed facilities or modern conveniences. Visitors must pack out all trash. Camping permits and reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 888-PA-PARKS. Additional Info: Operator: PA DCNR. Limit of 7 continuous days of camping on state forest land; cannot resume until 48 hours have passed. All vehicles and equipment must be removed. Contact Tuscarora State Forest district office at 717-536-3191 for availability and permits. Office hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM, closed state holidays. Open year round.
