Tusayan-Montane (formerly Ten-X) Campground is located 2 miles south of Tusayan and 47 miles north of Williams on U.S. Highway 180/AZ Highway 64. The campground is only approximately 10 miles from the south entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. Located in a beautiful ponderosa pine/Gambel oak forest on the Tusayan Ranger District, Tusayan-Montane is a quiet, peaceful campground that generally has open camping, single and group sites. Additional Info: - 162 campsites: 142 single-family and 18 double-family, plus group sites. - Potable water available. - Vault toilets. - No showers or laundry facilities. - No utility hookups. - Pull-through sites accommodate up to 35-foot RV; most back-in sites for smaller vehicles. - Generators allowed 7am-8pm. - Pets allowed on leash. - Open late April to mid-October.
