Turtle Run Hiker-Biker Campsite is a free, first-come first-served primitive site at mile marker 34.4 along the C&O Canal Towpath in Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park, Maryland. Exclusively for hikers and cyclists, with one-night stay limit per trip. Amenities include chemical toilet, picnic table, grill, and non-potable water (filter, treat, or boil before use; off mid-November to mid-April). Site may flood or become muddy after heavy rain. Additional Info: Open year-round. Views of Potomac River and Harrison Island. Medium-sized open area with trees along edges.
