TUCKER-JOHNSON SHELTER (Campground) Additional Info: Hike-in shelter with capacity for 8 people, located just north of Maine Junction on the Long Trail in Vermont. Maintained by the Green Mountain Club on US Forest Service land. Built by the USFS in 1963 and reconstructed after burning down in 2011. Water from a small brook approximately 200 feet north via the Long Trail, though not always reliable and known to go dry. Privy available.
