About this site
Dispersed campsites are located at the Trout Creek National Recreation Trail #774 trailhead at the end of FSR 214 (Hope Valley Road) in the Kootenai National Forest. The road is very rough and suitable only for high clearance vehicles. No restrooms or potable water are available at the site. The trailhead provides access to a 19.8-mile loop trail in the Trout Creek Roadless Area near the Idaho/Montana border. Additional Info: No motorized vehicles on the trail. Contact Cabinet Ranger Station for current trail and road conditions.
