Trout Creek Campground
About this site
Trout Creek Campground is a forested campground located off Interstate 90, approximately 60 minutes west of Missoula, Montana and 10 minutes southeast of Superior, Montana. The campground features 12 sites in a cool, shady setting with spacious sites and lots of screening. Sites are back-in only and can accommodate RVs 27 to 35 feet in length depending on the site. The campground sits beside Trout Creek stream. Each site has a parking area, picnic table, and fire ring. Facilities include 3 vault toilets and trash services. There is no water available or camp host. The campground is near the trailhead to Thunderbolt Lookout and several trails into the Frank Church - River of No Return Wilderness. The area is popular for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian activities. The South Fork Salmon River and Johnson Creek offer fishing opportunities. Dogs must be on a leash. Maximum stay limit is 16 days per reservation. Open 24 hours per day. Season: May 23 - November 4. Single site fee is $15 per night (2 vehicles included); additional vehicles are $5 per night.
