Trapper Springs Campground
About this site
Trapper Springs Campground is adjacent to the lower Madison River and provides good access for camping, fishing and floating. The campground has 15 campsites, including accessible ones, with fire pits, picnic tables, vault toilets, and drinking water. A reservable group pavilion is available in the day use area. Firewood is available for purchase at nearby Red Mountain Campground when the volunteer host is present. Collecting or cutting wood is prohibited on BLM administered lands. Additional Info: Sites are suitable for both RVs and tent camping. Organized group permits are required for groups larger than 15 people. No boat launch at the site, but several are nearby.
