Town Corner Lake State Forest Campground
About this site
This rustic campground is nestled between Town Corner Lake and the Black River. It is located within the Pigeon River Country State Forest providing easy access to the High Country Pathway. There are 12 sites for tent and small trailer use. The campground is located 18 miles east of Vanderbilt via East Sturgeon Valley Road. Additional Info: No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vault toilets. Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well. No electrical available. Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. One camping unit and six people are allowed per site. Gravel ramp access to Town Corner Lake. Bass and bluegill can be found in Town Corner Lake. Other nearby fishing opportunities include Black River (.5 mile east) and Blue Lakes (4 miles north).
