TOOL BOX SPRING CG (Campground) Additional Info: These five remote yellow post camping sites are located on Thomas Mountain in San Bernardino National Forest, accessible via unpaved forest road 1N12. Sites are primitive with minimal amenities: metal fire rings only, no water, no restrooms, no trash containers, and no picnic tables. Maximum 8 persons per site, 2 vehicles maximum, 14-day camping limit. Free, first-come-first-served. Pets not allowed. Campfire permits required; seasonal fire restrictions may apply.
