Tonahutu Meadows Backcountry Campsite is a designated hike-in site in Rocky Mountain National Park, located on the lower edge of a meadow near a creek at approximately 10,050 feet elevation. The site is marked by a wood sign and red arrowheads on trees; camp in hardened areas only, safely away from standing dead trees near the silver metal arrowhead. Campfires are prohibited. Follow Leave No Trace principles: dispose of waste properly, disperse wastewater 200 feet from camps and water sources, and leave plants, rocks, and artifacts undisturbed. Additional Info: Single-site backcountry location along the Tonahutu Trail/North Inlet Trail loop, accessible only by hiking. Reservable via backcountry permit required year-round.
