Tom Miner Campground

Tom Miner Campground is located in the Custer Gallatin National Forest in the Tom Miner Basin of the Gallatin Mountains at 7,100-7,119 ft elevation. It offers 16 individual campsites and 2 group sites, all first-come, first-served with no reservations. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and bear-proof food storage cabinets at each site. Sites are wooded, shady, and provide privacy, with some creekside. Accessible facilities include food boxes and toilets. The campground is near the Petrified Forest Trailhead, Yellowstone National Park, and the Yellowstone River.
