Tom Floyd Wayside Shelter is the first shelter north of Shenandoah National Park on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Located 0.2 miles uphill from Ginger Spring, it offers a shelter with basic toilet facilities, nearby campsites, and is suitable for tent camping. The site is free, established camping on government land with limited services. Pets are allowed. Terrain consists of forested areas with hiking trails.
