FREE USFS Campground Free USFS campground with 7 designated spots. All campsites are level, have a table, and fire pit. Some of the sites have shade. 2 bear boxes and 2 pit toilets located around campground. Short hiking trail cuts through the adjacent woods. No AT&T service. Plenty of open space for Starlink. VERY buggy during late afternoons. Flies and moths can be a problem. Overall, this is a decent campground. Not a lot of privacy, but it is very clean and peaceful. Additional Info: 5-site campground in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest by the Boulder Batholith in the Highland Range. Accommodates trailers up to 22 feet. Open May to September. Features a group picnic area and is close to a creek.
