Tobacco River Campground is a first-come, first-served site in Kootenai National Forest with 6 designated campsites adjacent to the Tobacco River. No fees apply. Open year-round, managed Memorial Day through Labor Day with weather-dependent access otherwise. 16-day stay limit. Gravel roads accommodate RVs up to 20 feet. Amenities include vault toilets and fire rings; no potable water, showers, dump station, or hookups. Additional Info: Elevation 2,460 feet. Near Lake Koocanusa for fishing and recreation.
