TOBACCO RIVER (Campground) Additional Info: Tobacco River Campground is located approximately 5 miles west of Eureka off Pidgeon Bridge Road #7277 in Kootenai National Forest at an elevation of 2,460 feet. The campground has 6 designated campsites with tables and fire rings situated along the Tobacco River in a forested setting. Access and campground roads are gravel. The access road accommodates up to a 20' RV. Amenities include a vault toilet and an undeveloped boat ramp for small packable boats. This is a pack-in, pack-out facility with no potable water or trash service. The campground is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fee. It is managed from Memorial Day through Labor Day; access during other seasons is weather-dependent. A 16-day stay limit applies.
