Timber Top Camp is a stunning hike-in backcountry site in the Ventana Wilderness near Big Sur, California. Located approximately 2.8 miles from the Boronda Trail trailhead at Highway 1, it sits at about 3000 feet elevation with panoramic coastal views. No water is available on site; pack in all water or source from nearby Cold Spring Camp. Dispersed camping with fires allowed. Practice Leave No Trace principles. Additional Info: - Accessed via Boronda Trail from Coast Ridge Road area. - No facilities or amenities.
